So after contemplating what we should do in a 2 1/2 day time frame we had a lot to squeeze in. Ben wanted to make sure to see some of Amsterdam’s famous art, I was happy to just see the city, so all worked out well. First stop for us was the Van Gogh Museum in the arts district. The museum host some of Van Gogh’s most famous pieces. Unfortunately cameras are prohibited inside the exhibit.
The rest of the time we just walked around and ate. Sampling some of Hollands best food finds. There is no question the Dutch have their beer making skills down to a science. Commonly their love for beer making is overshawdowed by the great indeginious dishes. I took Ben to a side street Panakoken restaurant on the East Side of Amsterdam. We somehow managed to walk down to the Leitzeplein area and consume Heinekins through the night. It was a nice break from being out in the brush of Africa.
